Question:
(1)Does the portable scanner device transmit wirelessly to a pc or via usb of somekind?
(2)If wirelessly, what is the range?
(3)Also what is the limit on the portable scanner device (before dowloading to pc)?
Really interested, but need to know these facts first…

The scanner is connected to the computer via USB. It does not transmit wirelessly.
Regarding your last question, all scanned data is sent immediately to the PC - nothing is stored in the scanner itself. Once scanned, the software reads key information from the document, and automatically sends that data to corresponding fields in a spreadsheet, eliminating the need for manual entry.

Hi Guys,
I would like to say that this product well meeet’s and exceeded my expectations. I was able to save hundrends of dollars on lost exepense information. This is something the traveler has needed for years. Keep going with those great products Neat Co,

We live full time in an RV. RV space is always limited and by Scanning all our docuemnts and receipts using NeatReceipts we have reduced our space to zero! NeatReceipts is an invaluable tool to organize and store important documents and receipts.
Another issue is getting mail and other important documents. Since we travel and have no home address we send all our snail mail to an address that our son watches. We purchased a copy of NeatReceipts for our son. New mail is scanned by our son using NeatReceipts after which he exports it as a file that he sends to us. So we have eliminated paper on both ends we have also eliminated the cost of mailing the paper.
