New: The NeatReceipts Origami Organizer!

One of the questions we hear most often from our customers is, “What can I do with all my paper, once they are scanned and organized in my Neat digital filing system?” Well, to show that we were listening, we developed an exciting new feature for NeatReceipts - the Origami Organizer!

Now, with the push of a button you can turn all those faded and crumpled receipts into something truly useful - like a swan, an elephant or a hummingbird. Simply press the “Origami” button on your Neat Mobile scanner and your paper is automatically folded. Then all your new folded-animal friends are automatically sent to the Origami Organizer tab in NeatWorks. Check out more photos and screenshots here!

Arrange them on your uncluttered desk, share them with friends, or set them free. The Origami Organizer is a really NEAT way to use up all that scanned paper!

Coming Soon: NeatDesk for Mac!

At the 2009 Macworld conference this past January, we unveiled NeatWorks for Mac 2.0, the latest version of our scanning and digital filing software developed for the Mac OS. Current users, new customers and the media were all excited about the new features and functionality - like support for business cards (and Address Book integration), the ability to export to Quicken, and its compatibility with several 3rd party scanners.

Yet despite all the accolades and congratulations, we kept hearing one question: “Does this version work with your lightning-fast, stylish, and award-winning desktop scanner?” (OK, perhaps I am paraphrasing a bit but you get the idea.)

And while we couldn’t make any promises at the time, we are very excited to let you know that YES, NeatDesk for Mac will be available soon! It will use the same great NeatWorks software, but will come with the NeatDesk ADF (automatic document feeder) scanner. The unique design of the ADF scanner allows for fast batch scanning of multiple paper types - even two-sided documents! (Learn more about the ADF scanner.)

NeatReceipts for Mac is Almost Here!

Version 2 is almost here and we’ve added many of the features and functionality you’ve been asking for. In fact, the enhancements are so powerful, we’ve renamed it.

Introducing… NeatWorks for Mac 2.0!

NeatWorks for Mac 2.0 takes paper digitization and organization to a new level. Version 1 made it easy to manage and track receipts and documents. Version 2 extends the power of our patented technology to business cards, Quicken and third-party hardware!

Scan business cards
Key data will be identified and extracted and the contact information, as well as the image of the card, will automatically be added to your Address Book, which can be sync’d with your iPhone.

Export to Quicken
Receipt data and notes can be exported to QIF format, making it simple to manage everyday spending.

Third-party hardware
NeatWorks for Mac 2.0 is compatible with the following third-party scanners and multi-function printers: Fujitsu S300M, Fujitsu S510M, Canon Pixma MX410, Canon Pixma MP480 and HP Officejet J6480.

We’ve also updated the user interface, fixed bugs and improved performance!
