The Neat Kids Strike Again!

May 13th, 2009

April 23rd was Take Your Children to Work Day. We had a great time with the “Neat Kids” - we played games, held a scavenger hunt, and even taught them a bit about Artificial Intelligence. At the end of the day we did a little video shoot to ask them about all the Neat things they learned. As always, these kids tell it like it is.

Thanks to Abby, Matthew, Hallie, and Harry for a great day — we can’t wait to to it again next year!

Law & Order SVU Cracks the Case…with a Neat Scanner!

March 12th, 2009

The DNA evidence was thrown out in court, and Detectives Stabler and Benson needed a fingerprint - and fast. Luckily, the suspect showed up at the precinct with a fast food cup, which was quickly dusted for prints. But how would they match the print to the one they got off the bullet before the suspect lawyered up? With a Neat mobile scanner, of course!

Although they used their own special TV-police-drama software to match up the prints, we here at The Neat Company commend Dick Wolf for recognizing the value of a lightweight, portable scanner in fighting crime. (We’ve been saying this for years.)

Check out the episode here. The Neat action starts around 0:23:30.

Dun-duuuuh.

“Thank You, NeatReceipts!”

October 15th, 2008

We love to hear stories about our customers getting organized with Neat products. However, we love SEEING them even more! Recently a few of our customers have taken the time to share their thoughts with us on video, and we thought they were so great, we wanted to share them with the world.

Keep them coming, and stay tuned for more!

High-Voltage Launch Party

October 8th, 2008

As you may have heard, last week NeatReceipts transformed…into The Neat Company. For those of us doing the transforming, it meant a lot of long hours, late nights, and cold pizza. So to celebrate everyone’s hard work and a wildly successful launch, we had a little party! Now, for those of you familiar with the Neat parties, this was a bit of a departure for us. No beer pong or car bombs…instead, we all wore our fancy clothes and sipped “Neatinis” in the Chinese Rotunda at U Penn’s Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Don’t believe me? We’ll post some pictures soon to prove it.

But before you think of us as just another fun startup that got big and corporate-y, don’t despair. As part of the celebration, we created a “high-voltage” music video in honor of our Neat transformation. (Thanks, Electric Six!)

Enjoy!
